Shaped Oreo Truffles

Delightfully creamy and rich, these Shaped Oreo Truffles are an irresistible no-bake dessert that combines crushed Oreos and cream cheese into fun, bite-sized treats perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies (about 1 package)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Colored sprinkles or edible decorations (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies finely using a food processor or by placing them in a sealed bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well blended and dough-like.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls or desired shapes using your hands or molds; place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Chill the shaped truffles in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off, then place back on parchment paper.
  7. Add sprinkles or decorations immediately after dipping if desired.
  8. Refrigerate truffles for 1 hour or until the chocolate coating is set.
  9. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

For an extra special touch, try shaping the truffles into holiday themes or letters, and use white chocolate with food coloring for colorful coatings.
