This Honey Glazed Salmon Bowl combines tender, sweetly glazed salmon with fresh vegetables and fluffy rice for a wholesome and flavorful meal perfect for lunch or dinner.

  • 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup steamed broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Brush the honey glaze generously over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake salmon for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and flaky.
  6. Prepare steamed broccoli, shredded carrots, and cooked jasmine rice while salmon bakes.
  7. Assemble the bowl by layering rice, steamed broccoli, and shredded carrots.
  8. Place the baked salmon fillet on top and drizzle any remaining glaze over the bowl.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired, then serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a squeeze of fresh lime juice over the bowl just before serving or swap jasmine rice for quinoa for a protein boost.
