This Honey Garlic Ground Turkey is a flavorful and healthy skillet dish combining sweet honey and savory garlic for a quick weeknight meal.

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
  4. Stir in honey, soy sauce, black pepper, and red pepper flakes; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions.
  6. Serve warm over rice or with steamed vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of rice vinegar or garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
