Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  3. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish, skin side up, and pour the honey garlic sauce over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is crispy.
  5. Baste the chicken with the pan juices halfway through cooking for extra flavor.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

Serve with steamed rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal. For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 2-3 minutes at the end of baking.
