Gluten-Free Greek Yogurt Bagels

Deliciously soft and chewy gluten-free bagels made with protein-rich Greek yogurt, perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack.

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten-free baking flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg white (for egg wash)
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, everything bagel seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the gluten-free flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add in the Greek yogurt and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Lightly flour a clean surface and knead the dough briefly until smooth.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and shape each into a ball.
  6. Poke a hole through the center of each ball to form a bagel shape and gently stretch the hole to about 2 inches wide.
  7. Place the shaped bagels onto the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with egg white and sprinkle with desired toppings.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

For extra flavor, try slicing and toasting these bagels, then topping with cream cheese and smoked salmon.
