Garlic Butter Salmon is a rich and flavorful dish featuring perfectly seared salmon fillets coated in a luscious garlic butter sauce, making it a quick and delicious dinner option.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the salmon fillets skin-side up to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until salmon is cooked through.
  5. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
  6. Reduce heat to medium, add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
  7. Sauté the garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
  8. Stir in fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  9. Pour the garlic butter sauce over the cooked salmon fillets.
  10. Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve with a side of roasted vegetables or a fresh green salad. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter sauce for a subtle heat.
