Dirt Cake is a fun, no-bake dessert featuring layers of creamy pudding, crushed chocolate cookies, and gummy worms that delight both kids and adults alike.

  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package (15 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • Gummy worms for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and mix until fully combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together cold milk and instant pudding mix; let it set for 5 minutes.
  4. Fold the pudding into the cream cheese mixture, then gently fold in the whipped topping.
  5. In a trifle bowl or individual cups, layer half of the crushed cookies, then half of the pudding mixture.
  6. Repeat layers with remaining cookies and pudding mixture.
  7. Top with gummy worms for a fun presentation.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to let flavors meld.

Notes

For a fun twist, try using different flavored pudding or add crushed nuts for extra texture.
