Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved
  • 1/2 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, red onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 small patties, about the size of your slider buns.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side until fully cooked and browned.
  5. Place a half slice of Swiss cheese on each patty and transfer them to a baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted.
  6. Toast slider buns lightly if desired.
  7. Spread cranberry sauce on the bottom half of each bun, add a turkey patty with melted cheese, then top with baby spinach leaves and the bun top.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your festive cranberry turkey sliders.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a dollop of spicy mustard or swap baby spinach with arugula for a peppery bite.
