These air fryer protein bagels are a quick and healthy breakfast option packed with extra protein, perfect for busy mornings or post-workout fuel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened almond milk (optional, for consistency)
  • Sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together oat flour, protein powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine Greek yogurt, egg, and honey until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Add almond milk if the dough is too thick.
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each into a bagel by making a hole in the center.
  6. Sprinkle tops with sesame seeds or everything bagel seasoning if desired.
  7. Place bagels in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway if needed.
  9. Remove and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter twist, add cinnamon or dried fruit to the dough, or enjoy with cream cheese and smoked salmon for a savory option.
